The Legends of Sound Concert went down at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on 5th August 2023. Afrigo, the longest serving musical band in terms of dishing out original Ugandan sound with majority of the founders still doing the most , Moses Matovu , Joanita Kawalya and James Wasula the executive director Afrigo band put up an amazing performance in commemoration of 48 years of existence.

Known for his exceptionality in Lingala, the legendary Awilo Longoba from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) showcased high end entertainment with all time favourite songs; Coupe’ bibamba, kwanga and Fifi. He expressed his gratitude to share the stage with Afrigo band and as he promised, he gave revellers an experience of a life time.
The 61 year old Congolese Lingala musician is the most demanded artist from DRC that has stood the taste of time since 1995 . He inherited the talent from his mother Vicky Longoba who was a singer and writer.

Just as Moses Matovu appealed to all their fans to come to legends Of sound in big numbers during the press conference , they did not disappoint . Ragga Dee , DJ Alberto and Messach Ssemakula delivered incredible performances at the event .
The event was organized by Talent Africa headed by Ali Allibahi an events organizer credited for putting up top notch events in Kampala . It was sponsored by NBS , Stanbic bank, mighty rides , flexi pay, Radio One. At only 8 dollars the concert was streamed live at YO TV for those in the diaspora to attend virtually.
