We aim to increase the access to helmets through donations to school children in public schools in a bid to protect them from risks on the road .
“This is a gap in road safety management that we have proactively identified and seek to address .” said Valery Okecho the VIVO energy Uganda Cooperate Communications Manager, while at an event of relaunching the heads-up campaign at Shimoni primary school in Kololo. The State Minister for Primary Education Hon Dr. Joyce Mariku Kaducu was present at the event.

On 2nd August 2023 while at radio City 97 FM breakfast in the City Valery said their strategy is rolling out to as many public schools as they can because a large population of children who go to these schools use boda bodas. The children’s helmets can as well be purchased from all shell outlets at only shs 70,000 each for the safety of your child that’s to say shell Ntinda , shell Bugolobi , shell Bunga , Wakaliga at their office and shell Kira road.
