Entebbe Secondary School emerged winners of the 8th National Conference on Communication (NCC) Regional School ICT club competitions that took place on 28th Aug 2023 at Kyambogo University under the theme: Sustainable ICTs in Uganda – Growth Through Responsible Innovative Solutions.

Six schools participated in the regional event and presented 10 projects in total. Three from Kings college Buddo, Two from St. Henry’s College Kitovu, two from St. Mary’s College Namagunga, one each from Kalinabiri SS, Entebbe SS and Trinity college Nabbingo,

The NCC ICT club competitions present secondary school students with a chance to showcase their creativity in the field of ICT and compete with their peers from different schools and regions as well as learn from the best practices and innovations in ICT. They also get to network with experts, mentors, and potential employers in the industry.

The winners in regional competitions will move on to participate at National level in the 8th NCC school ICT clubs competition that will be held at Kyambogo University from 3rd to 4th October 2023.
