St. Mary’s Kitende , known for for delivering top education services and some of the best sports talents in Uganda and located in Kitende ,wakiso along Entebbe road.
At around 11.30 am today , part of the boys residence “A level wing” was gutted by a conflagration. That was noticed by vigilant staff , fortunately the members of the wing had gone to attend their regular classes making security cautions for fire outbreak easy for the administration to handle.
The school administration was quick to reach out to the fire brigade, while carrying out collective efforts to put down and control wide spread fire devastation to the entire residence according to the press statement released by the school administration.
The press release appreciates fire brigade for arriving in time and it’s efficient sprang in to action to save the entire residence from the conflagration fire. No major part of the residence was affected , however the cause of the fire remains uncertain at the point.
The kitende administration and police says further investigation are to be conducted and establish the cause of the fire. In conclusion the school commended its community for vigilance observed during the atmosphere filled with tension and chaos.
