On Saturday, 5th April 2025, St. Andrew’s Ssanda celebrated its 16th anniversary. The senior five dormitory was named after Spice Diana.
“Growing up, I often saw roads and buildings named after Uganda’s greats. But it never occurred to me that one day, my name could be honored in the same way,” noted Spice Diana
The award-winning artist is an inspiration to many young girls, especially in school, who look up to her for a bright future. She has used her platform to encourage young people to work hard through her community outreaches.
“To students who will sleep in that dormitory, may my name serve as a constant reminder of responsibility and a symbol of possibility for the students.
In celebration of the Spice Diana’s contributions to Uganda’s cultural scene, the dormitory is “Spice Diana Dorm.”
