UGANDA PRIMEIR LEAGUE FOOTBALL PHENOMENOS CONFIRM PARTNERSHIP WITH LADY TEAMS.
KCCA FC and Vipers FC make a bond with lady football teams. On Friday 23rd June 2023, Vipers Sports Club official introduced Wakiso Hills Women FC as their women team. Not only Vipers did so but earlier on 20th June 2023 KCCA FC had official introduced Kampala Queens as their official women team.
The Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers SC (Venoms) on Friday 23rd June 2023 informed its stakeholders and football family that it had entered into a partnership with Wakiso Hills Women Football Club and it shall be the Venom’s official women team in all its FUFA, CAF and FIFA engagements.




The women’s club founded in 2010 as a girls’ school team was one of the pioneer institutions of the top-flight FUFA Women Elite League way back in 2015.They remained competitive until the league rebranded to the FUFA Women Super League (FWSL) in 2019.Recently, Wakiso Hills finished second in the just concluded Women Elite league collecting 37 points from 18 matches and thereby earning direct promotion to next season’s FWSL.
According to the official statement of the Venoms, Wakiso hills will maintain its intellectual property rights and brand images but corroborate in areas of technical development, club infrastructure and marketing.
This is the same arrangement that KCCA FC officially announced on 20th June 2023 with Kampala Queens FC. KCCA FC and Kampala Queens FC officially entered into partnership for a period of three years with effect from 1st July 2023 to 30th June 2026. The partnership has KCCA FC agreeing to take on Kampala Queens FC as its sole women football team with Kampala Queens takes on KCCA FC as its sole men’s team for all official engagements including FUFA, CAF and FIFA competitions.
The partnership will also see KCCA FC provide technical and knowledge exchange to Kampala Queens FC’s technical team intermittently for the growth of the game of football in the country.
