“I will make UMCAT great again” crossed his mouth a number of times during his rallies and processions
all most replacing his “embracing reality slogan till he was sworn in as president on the 12th April 2024.
Mark won the race with a lamp sum of 20 votes difference from his close competitor Asiimwe Farahat
who came in second and Munwevu Abby swinging third alongside Kuzara Deborah who won the vice
president sit and Nalutaya Laura as the guild secretary all in the election process that took place on the
28th March 2024.

“The electoral process was not upright but who are we to run to the law makers if they have become law
breakers?” It’s a dismay and this shall go in history. Most of the activities that took place today were
unconstitutional and we really tried to our level best to challenge but all in vain.” said Asiimwe who was
not satisfied with the results. However, the electoral commission turned down his appeal claiming it
came in late and was handed to the wrong person.

of the premises since they had shown signs of chaos as none of the candidates hit the required
percentage, though the electoral commission chose to take the person with the most votes.
“Most of our colleagues have not voted, they are not in the register even when they fully cleared their
tuition bills yet we have seen some students from MRAI in the register.” Anonymous source. Unlike the
normal electoral process, the Alumni were locked out of the premises with a thought that they woulddisorganize the event.
