She is young rich and famous, but before all that what’s her exodus to Grace?
Born in the pearl a star to the continent , Mrs. Lutaaya the boss lady Zari Hassan born September 1980 in Jinja and raised there by her mother. She went to Girls High school where she completed her high school studies and in vacation she moved to Kampala.
This was her initial foundation to the making of the present boss Lady, Zari joined Karaoke and performed at a number of happening spots. Not only did she stop at Karaoke in the music world but went a step to release an album and her first single being oil wangle that was released in 2007. Which saw her nominated for Channel O awards in the category of best East African video of the year , won the award in 2008 fit best East African Artist of the year .
Like many grown ups Zari met her then boyfriend Ivan Semwanga in early 2000s and together they had three children and spent much of their time in South Africa.
Ivan now deceased was a tycoon who left lots of property that Zari inherited with her children both in South Africa and Uganda. including a real estate and Brooklyn City college which she co-found , The couple had separated 2013. The couple had a flaunt the best show biz party in East Africa “THE ZARI ALL WHITE PARTY” which made the couple more famous.
Zari’s life continued after the break up with Ivan and got involved Diamond Platinumz who is her ex currently, and together they have two children. Diamond platinumz who is platinum billboard outstanding East African musician from Tanzania, separated with Zari in 2018 for the good of their children.
More gold kept coming her way as she became Uganda’s Tourism ambassador and geared the “Tulambule Pearl of Africa ”, campaign for promotion tourism through social media platforms which was a success this saw her become Tanzania’s tourism ambassador.
Currently she’s the softcare baby diapers brand ambassador also focusing her role as the first Uganda female actress to feature on a Netflix reality show that started late year 2022 , Young ,Famous and African Stars from Nigeria, Zimbabwe , Tanzania , Kenya and South African where her ex fiancé Diamond Platinumz also features.
On the return of season 2 of the reality show ,Zari said ,“ Still fabulously gorgeous and very blessed.” Earlier on this year April 2023 Zari Hassan got married to Shakib Lutaaya and she says the Nikah was organized in only 48 hours and this is the first time she has been married which extremely excites her. With the late Ivan Semwanga ,they only performed an introduction ceremony.
Zari’s advice to young ladies is “Whoever wants to live a good life , give up comfort for discomfort.”
